High Fat - Low Carb Diet Rage in Sweden

[Disclaimer- we are not endorsing this diet but merely conveying the enthusiasm for it of one valued reader.]

KRISTER IN SWEDEN

FOR HENRYMAKOW.COM

In a recent article "Cognitive Dissonance Defines Our Lives", the author asked for examples on cognitive dissonance (CD). Although we may first hand think of CD primarily in terms of politics and hidden history, like when Swedish-Estonian author Juri Lina tell us that the 'revolution' in Russia, in reality was just an ugly coup d'ètat, financed and directed by some of the richest finance barons of the world, the above YouTube dialogue makes another good example of the CD involved, when trying to tell people that they get slim and healthier by eating fatty food.

Fat women.jpgAs mentioned in the video the name of the 'thing' is LCHF (low carb high fat) and the diet had it's origin some years back in Sweden, when the daughter of a female doctor was involved in a test of different diets in her school. The daughter was placed in a group eating low carb and fatty food, and seeing her daughter loose weight made the mother test the diet on herself and later on to her patients at an elderly home, with the same good results including better health. That was the beginning of the LCHF-revolution (yes a genuine revolution)  which despite some big food/-pharma attacks, has spread like a wildfire in Scandinavia.

LCHF is now starting to spread beyond Scandinavia and will soon (with the assistance of big food/-pharma) generate large doses of CD, also into the populations of other countries of the industrialized world. The diet, or rather lifestyle, is mainly based on exchanging the carbonated (sugar) food and high carb vegetables, for food as bacon, fish, eggs, nuts, low carb vegetables and natural fat (butter).

In short the LCHF-diet makes you go back to eating the natural food man did eat before the beginning of the agricultural age some 6000 years ago and not only obese and overweight people should try out the LCHF-diet, as it results in better health especially for people having diabetes*.

Information is easy to reach by the net, as someone in Sweden was smart enough to make out the abbreviation for the diet in English. As yet most of the information is in Swedish, but Google have an easy to use function of translation. * Recently LCHF have been approved by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare as treatment of diabetes.
