I have noticed a strange trend in media towards open pseudo-religious communication.
After Lady Gaga's account of the genesis of homosexuality (http://youtu.be/wV1FrqwZyKw), I have come across a very scary ad by Levi's (above.)
A deep voice says The gods will offer you chances, take them while you see a man and woman kissing in a swimming pool, the camera obviously focusing on the lady's daisy dukes and legs.
The clip ends with an openly pagan mantra:
Your life is your life
Know it while you have it
You are marvelous
The gods wait to delight in you
Go forth.
In the background, pictures of people having sex or fighting or being involved in promiscuous parties.
So what gods are they talking about? The gods of sex, selfishness and Daisy Dukes?
And what's going on right now? Are they all celebrating a pagan festival of sorts?
