Trump is marketing himself as the "Prince of Peace." Netanyahu wasn't even invited to the Inauguration. Contrast this with the obsequious pandering he received last time he was in DC.
Trump must be aware that his servitude to Israel is the main knock against him so he is attempting to create the illusion that the US isn't a Zionist vassal state.
