Peter Boothroyd- Christians Have Bought Tribulation Lie

Christians have been taught to embrace the Great Tribulation because, before that happens, they will all be removed or raptured from the planet. But, it's all a hoax because, the predicted great tribulation already took place in the horrific years of the Roman siege that ended with the complete destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. The rapture was made up to pacify Christians.

The Rapture and Other End Time Hoaxes
by Peter Boothroyd
(henrymakow.com)

Christians across North America believe that one day they will be raptured and will be spared the "Tribulation" and "Antichrist."

They might be surprised to learn that the false doctrines of the rapture and dispensationalism were invented in 1830 by John Darby.

In fact, you won't find the word "rapture" in the Bible. It's a hoax. But this didn't stop Cyrus Ingerson Scofield from stealing Darby's deceptive doctrines and incorporating them in his Scofield Reference Bible which was first published in 1909 and revised in 1917. Labeled a charlatan and heretic by Christian author Stephen Sizeman, shyster Scofield even conferred a doctorate on himself in 1892. You can read more about this scoundrel here.

In spite of Scofield's sordid background, the erroneous rapture doctrine was popularized by Hal Lindsay in his book The Late Great Planet Earth in 1970 and sensationalized by Tim LaHaye with his apocalyptic Left Behind series of books beginning in 1995.

The heretical Scofield Reference Bible was even picked up by the Dallas Theological Seminary as a textbook for its students. Many other Bible colleges in the United States also teach students about the rapture and dispensationalism as if they are facts.

Not only is there no rapture. The "Antichrist" is a make-believe character promoted by the Scofield futurists. A quick check in Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible reveals that the Bible warns that not just one but many antichrists will emerge over the ages.

The spirit of antichrist is already in the world, the Bible says. Anyone that denies God and His Son is antichrist. And antichrist systems are alive and well today. However, don't expect a guy who calls himself the real Antichrist to pop up any time soon.

But the lies don't stop there. Many evangelical Christians like to talk about the "Great Tribulation" which they say is a 3½ year-period that is still to come marked by the appearance of the Antichrist. Well, guess what? Those 3½ years of great tribulation have already come and gone and culminated in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. The famous historian Flavio Josephus observed and recorded in great detail the terrifying Roman siege of Jerusalem which lasted from the spring of 67 AD until the fall of 70 AD (3½ years).

In his book The Destruction of Jerusalem, written in 1805, George Peter Holford explains that the Olivet Discourse of Jesus, recorded in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, is a prediction of the events that would soon come to pass and lead to the destruction of Jerusalem and its magnificent temple.

But the heretical Scofield futurists would have you believe that Jesus was speaking of events 2,000 years or more in the future. Holford's book contains much information from Josephus. Why does the Olivet Discourse not appear in the Gospel of John, you might ask? Because John's detailed account of the soon-to-arrive destruction of Jerusalem is contained in the Book of Revelation.

Well, what about 666, the "number of the beast"? Surely, the beast of Revelation 13 is still to come. No, many theologians think not. That's another instance of how many of us have been hoodwinked to believe the lies of the dispensational futurists.

The last verse of Revelation 13 in the King James Version doesn't say the number of the beast is 666. It says "let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast for it is the number of a man, and his number is Six [sic] hundred threescore and six" (or six hundred and sixty-six). John was speaking in code to the seven churches in Asia Minor. He knew that, if his readers were smart enough to use Hebrew gematria, the number six hundred and sixty six would give them the name Nero Caesar.

It was Nero, the wicked beast, who punished John by banishing him to the Isle of Patmos in the Aegean Sea where he wrote Revelation. Before that, Nero had tried to kill John by boiling him in oil but he didn't succeed. And the siege of Jerusalem began in 67 AD when Nero was Emperor of ancient Rome until he committed suicide in AD 68.

Don't let the futurists fool you. The rapture, the "Great Tribulation" and the coming "Antichrist" are all hoaxes perpetrated by the evangelicals who have been duped by the heretical Scofield Reference Bible.

The dispensational futurists would have you believe that John wrote the Book of Revelation to forecast events that would take place more than 2,000 years after it was written.  The truth of the matter is most of the events in the Book of Revelation had already taken place by the time Jerusalem and its magnificent temple had been utterly destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. In the opening chapter of the Book of Revelation, John indicates that he is writing about events that must "soon take place", not 2,000 years later.

First Comment from A Catholic Reader and Amateur Student of Prophecy

The article is wrong regarding the Tribulation , and so is the first commenter, Rae. Author is correct that much of The Book of Revelation was already fulfilled in 70 AD with the sacking of Jersalem, but this history doesn't include the future coming of the Antichrist. Article is also correct in claiming the rapture is a scam, but incorrect to claim that there is no Tribulation and Antichrist to anticipate. The claim that Christ will rule on earth for 1000 years is a mistaken heresy called millinarianism. Christ made it clear His kingdom wasn't of this earth. The number 1000 would have symbolized the concept of "forever" and should not be taken as a literal timespan from the book of Revelation. Christ will return to earth only to defeat the Man of Lawlessness and complete the final judgment of mankind.

Unfortunately Antichrist is an actual man and Tribulation is a set of events which will occur right before the second coming of Christ. The mark of the beast as prophecied in Revelation clearly describes what most can now recognize as the implementation of a digital currency with a microchip or similar technology to be placed into or onto people on the right hand or forehead. The book clearly states this mark will be required to buy or sell. Obviously this hasn't happened yet, and therefore indicates a future event and a future Antichrist.

Many holy saints have been given prophecy on the Man of Lawlessness, in addition to what's found in the bible: in Daniel, Revelation, and St. peter's letter to the Thessalonians (2 Thessalinians 2). Please read the article linked below from the National Catholic Register to get some specifics on their prophecies regarding the Antichrist. This article is not exhaustive, either. In fact there is also prophecy that Ireland will sink into the sea prior to the tribulation and thus be spared the worst end times events. I wish I could remember the source for that one, but I don't remember. As for the event itself it was impossible to forget such an amazing prophecy, and I thought about trying to move to Ireland when I learned of it.

Another source of prophecy on this subject comes from Our Lady of LaSalette. Please see number 22-26 of Her prophecy in the link below. This prophecy was given in the nineteenth century, in France. Therefore, although naysayers want to dismiss the idea of an anticipated Antichrist (how tempting!), it's clear that he is coming. We just don't know exactly when. Many non-Catholics will want to dismiss this information because it comes from Catholic sources and Catholic saints. Even most Catholics don't know about this; it hasn't much been taught, but it can be found by those that seek. Sometimes the language of the bible is symbolic or of debatable interpretation, but when combined with more recent prophecies spanning the 2000 years since the bible was completed, it's clear the Antichrist is a man who will rule the world at the end of time.

Boothroyd is correct that Dispensationalism’s Pre-tribulation Rapture

and Futurist view of Revelation are unbiblical.

And he is incorrect in his Preterist view of Revelation which believes

the FINAL antichrist and FINAL tribulation happened before 70 A.D.

However, the Great Reset will be a hundred times worse that Nero’s

tribulation.

(FWIW, Preterism was first systematized by the Jesuit Luis De Alcazar.

And the Jesuits were started by Jews.)

Most seminary professors probably believe the Progressive Parallelism

view of Revelation. PP believes Revelation is fulfilled from Christ’s 1st

coming to his 2nd coming.

I have emailed all kinds of Dispensalationists even some of the biggest names. They are in it for mammon or for personality issues. They suffer from self-love far too much and this false theory is part of their brand. You can even quote God Himself to them and I have with the Book of Joel, but they will not hearken unto the Lord voice. They are hucksters who want to feel important or/and just want cash. And they defraud the Lord's flock with their pseudo intellectual positions.

However, I can't agree with the author about the Tribulation not happening. There is a wealth of information on the internet that John wrote Revelation during the time of Domition rather than Nero. The 70 AD is a shadow along with the Babylonian destruction of the coming siege of Israel possibly by this decade or early next one. RC Sproul (not a pre-trib Dispensalationist) gives a decent viewpoint of this.

The demonic apparition of Garabandal pretending to be Mary has stated that Pope Francis is the last Pope. Demons can use both truth and error for their ends. The Pied Pontiff of Argentina is currently 87 years of age. And Scripture does hint (from a viewpoint) that Christ is coming back 2000 years after He ascended to Heaven. Note I believe He ascended in 33 AD. Not 30 AD as Speck thought. And the Trib need not be 7 years long, but shorter:

Once again thank you for posting the truth of the matter, this time about the false doctrine of Dispensationalism.

Scam artists have been involved with doctrines of Christianity since its inception 1700 years ago.

Darby and Scofield are just two of hundreds during the past 150 years and so are hundreds others in all the

denominations of Christianity.

Peter Boothroyd has done his homework and tells the truth of the matter.

Those who criticize and call him an SOB are illiterate, naïve, uninformed, ignorant Christian “sheeple” and some

just plain believe whatever the “guy in the pulpit” says without doing the research themselves.

“Don’t ask me to think! Just tell me what to believe.”

The post correctly criticizes the false concept of pre-tribulation rapture.

However, RAPTURE WILL TAKE PLACE - in a worldwide catastrophe (also see Jeremiah 25)
de facto described by Christ as a nuclear war sparing no life - except for the 2. coming of Christ - as described below (King James Bible)

"14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other".

Regarding Boothroyd article.

It is the truth, the first 1850 years of the church is entirely different than the last 170 years. God is not mocked by Christians believing lies. Believe lies and you get no sprinting of God.

This is why the Satanists always win, because the Christians don’t have God on their side. Read the first chapter of Isaiah and learn how God felt about the losers back in the day, then you will understand how he feels about the losers today.

You are dealing with a false prophet. This is what Gods word (NKJV) tells us:

(Revelation 16:17) 17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done!"

After the 7th angel has poured out his bowl, a loud voice sounds in heaven: 'It is done or finished'. The loud voice comes directly from heaven, from 1 of the 4 seraphs full of eyes who resides before God's throne (Rev. 4:6,16:7).

The seventh seraph pours out his bowl on the sky. This is strongly reminiscent of a strong disturbance of the magnetic field due to the attraction of a strange group of planets. Then great forces come to the earth, heavy volcanic activity (pillars of smoke), roaring seas and high waves. Coincidence of the attraction of moon and sun produces spring tides. Coinciding with a planet group has an even stronger effect:

(Luke 21:25-26) 25 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken.

A brown dwarf star can, with a glowing meteorite, drop glowing particles like a shower of fire and brimstone shower at temperatures that will melt even rock.

The plagues will continue to finally burn the entire outer shell of the Earth with all life by most likely meteorite fire. People on earth are terrified of the wrath of God and of the Lamb:

(Isaiah 24:19-20) 19 The earth is violently broken, The earth is split open, The earth is shaken exceedingly. 20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, And shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, And it will fall, and not rise again.

(Isaiah 29:5-6) 5…Yes, it shall be in an instant, suddenly. 6 You will be punished by the Lord of hosts With thunder and earthquake and great noise, With storm and tempest And the flame of devouring fire.

(Hebrews 1:10-12) 10 And: "You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. 11 They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment; 12 Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not fail."

And no, Christians must endure the great tribulation and will be rescued just before Gods wrath.

Never get your Bible information from a godless sob. Per prophesy, had ad79 been the tribulation, then Christ would have immediately returned to rule as king over the world for 1000 years. Did that happen, Henry?
