for those banks which have exposures to international borrowers like Evergrande have to set aside huge allocations for loan losses. Total China real estate developers with international loan repayments are about USD $53.6 Billion...then look at Blackstone who defaulted $580 mil on a Manhatten building (40% vacancy) and the second CMBS default on Nordic REIT (46% vacancy) totaling $2.1 Billion and then we have PIMCO defaulting on $1.7 Billion and Brookfield defaulted on 2 Los Angeles bldgs with $783 million in mortgages...this is where humans will outbeat AI in determining the domino effects on banks from real estate going bust, international loans going bust, local REITs going bust and not forgetting US debt ceiling going bust...oh well
