Store Bans Customer for Querying Face Diapers
August 11, 2022

I love to shop there and have been going there for years and have racked up a bunch of points.
I stopped by this vintage store over the weekend and now that people in LA are wearing masks again. I noticed some of the staff wearing masks.
I asked one of the male employees, a young black man in his 20s if they had to wear the masks...I could not really hear his response.
I then said, "I am sorry you have to wear masks"
The employee said, "I like wearing my mask"

The employee responded, "Oh yeah I heard about that ...
Then I said, "And they don't work, you should google it. Masks are actually unhealthy because they limit your breathing."
The employee through his mask --of what I could see of his face --looked a little odd --incredulous. And then said OK, like he would check it out. I was kind and just trying to help educate. Pretty uneventful --I bought a few things and left.
The manager said per EEOC laws code they have to protect their employees from harassers.
So I am not allowed back in the store and they threw out my points and deleted my account!
I called and spoke to this manager and asked what was the complaint. Evidently, I hurt this male employee's feelings by my comments above. I said I was really sorry and I could apologize to him or anyone else that over heard. But that's not harassment.
Then the manager read me the code that said, "Harassment is whatever the person feels is harassment."

Unbelievable. Think about it --it's as if this young black man feels harassed --really threatened by being confronted that instead of --being empowered by the mask he may be duped by the mask and worse he may be oppressed by the mask
The demons are screaming "Don't wake me up --its hurting my feelings because it's making me realize I am being played like an idiot!"
Are we at that point where they love their oppression ?

I suggest that everyone look into "The politics of obedience. The discourse of voluntary servitude" - Etienne De La Boetie written 500 years ago
The fundamental political question is why do people obey a government. The answer is that they tend to enslave themselves, to let themselves be governed by tyrants. Freedom from servitude comes not from violent action, but from the refusal to serve. Tyrants fall when the people withdraw their support.
