Atmosphere of Peaceful Celebration in Ottawa Saturday

A Winnipeg friend who travelled 1500 km to participate in the trucker protest describes a celebration of freedom and patriotism.
Couples with baby carriages, old
and young. They would just come up to your window, shake hands. Hug you, and thank your for coming.
You won't read about this in the Communist-controlled mass media.
Latest- Sunday night- I was once again at the Convoy Base Camp In Ottawa,
got back at about 6Pm. As we were leaving, we witnessed rows of York
and Durham PD running parallel to ward the parliament bldgs. I commented
that it looked and felt strange, from before
today. We all agreed, that some thing was happening, and so it was.It was a raid, where they seized a fuel tanker of
gas, and propane bottles. There were snipers on most of the bldgs. This
was live a few minutes ago.
All truckers involved, began sing Oh Canada. Many commented, "do they think this will stop them. Earlier, I asked numerous truckers, if they were receiving financial support, many said they did, but they were still out of pocket. I began giving out more 20.00 bills. Then the above happened after we got back to our Air BnB

Day 2 - 02/05/22 - Attended the festivities. It was nothing I could have expected. I expected large crowds. However, I was not prepared to see what I saw.
People were everywhere, I mean everywhere. All of them, smiling and mask less. In places, there was music and crowds so thick I felt like a penguin on ice.

The Ottawa downtown core was jammed, almost completely shut down. There were cars with the wheels taken off and placed on pallets. There was piles of stacked wood and fire pits to warm anybody who needed it, right in the middle of the street, in downtown Ottawa. There were thousands of trucks, cars, and farm tractors, and yes tow truckers, everywhere. More convoys coming in from somewhere? Horns were blaring out, with a deafening intensity. At times, some thing would trigger, a unified blast of horn sounds. The sound combined to herald another convoy entering.

There was free foods, soups, drinks (non alcoholic), bottles of water, granola bars, you name it and it was there ( better chilli that I have ever made, and I like chilli a lot) , gloves, hand and foot warmers, free, (donations generally accepted).
There was many blow-up play centers for children, lots of children. "Get your FT hat Here, 20.00", I bought 2.
Platforms for speakers, in more than one location. "What Do You Want ?" "FREDOM". "When ?", "NOW", etc.
People were cheering, chanting, shaking hands, crying with joy, hugging each other, and talking about their experiences. Convoy officials were everywhere, very well organised. They pounded to the crows, clean up, no violence, let people through, Etc. As vehicles needed to pass, channels were opened to allow access or departure. We were stuck in an intersection for 45 min. while crowds shuffled past and around our van. All of them with signs, flags lots and lots of flags, and big beautiful SMILES and bare faces. I met many people from across Canada, from BC to Quebec.

No one looked worried, or concerned for their safety. Police were friendly, smiling, and helpful. They basically were there, to do what you would expect, which was to make sure people were safe. In such a large crowd, there is bound to be a few going over board. They would be reported by Convoy officials if they crossed the line. A line that all agreed, should not be crossed by any one, at any time.
In one area, near parliament, there was about 100 anti convoy protesters. All masked and angry. Their signs, GO HOME Terrorists, They alluded to our penises ?? If you cannot get it up, I am not kidding, Then Go Home. There were even more inflammatory signs. Well, we had FT signs also, however, what would you say if someone was intent on harming you directly, as the vaccines have proven. We had no such signs, against the Pro side, only Love. Join us, unite with us, it is your choice, etc.,.
Convoy officials formed human barriers, holding huge flags between them, chanting, "Do Not Engage Them, It Is Their Right To Protest". They knew the consequences of a violent clash. Police were behind the Convoy officials, separating the contrast. In a few instances, the opposing sides came closer and closer, and hurled soft insults. The Convoy officials pushed them back. "There is nothing for you here, go back." "They have a right just like you to demonstrate". The Convoy protesters moved on, and left.
After a time, I decided to handed out some 20.00 bills, to some truckers high up in their cabs, "Thank you for LEADING us, For INSPIRING us" I said, they wept, and one trucker asked me to sigh the bill, so he could frame it. Image That, frame it ? Some thing bigger was important here, In Ottawa, on this day, he knew that. Some thing more important than money, or force, or fear. In one word, it was FREEDOM. That is the word, that I most often heard, FREEDOM. The vaccines, lockdowns, social distancing, passports etc. were symptoms. Symptoms of lost FREEDOM and RIGHTS. There is no point in piling evidence upon evidence on Covid19. For people with eyes to see, the truth is now self evident and plain to see and understand. We are now beyond arguing about this or that. We know now what is important, even if you do not .
As I pondered this question, as I looked up at our magnificent parliament building on the hill. I thought back to a previous Convoy In Wpg. On 01/24/22, where thousands of trucks and cars circled the city and parked in front of our MB parliament building. I thought of all the supporters on bridges and intersections, cheer us on, it was -25C. However, they thought it important. Thousands for sure.
On 01/25/22, when the Western Canada Convoys started arriving in Wpg. From the West, you could feel the energy building. The convoys started to unify sold lines Km after Km, on and on. Observers that I personally know, saw thousands upon thousands of supporters/ observers, line the #1 Hwy cheering on the stream moving East.
I thought of all the people, I saw on my way to Ottawa 02/06/22. I thought I would wear out my horn before I got to Ottawa.
I also reflected on what saw this day. Thousands upon thousands of black, white, Chinese, natives with their drums, Pakistanis, Quebecers (hundreds maybe thousands), and others, all thought some thing very important was happening, some thing big. This was Trudeau's Fringe Minority, with Unacceptable Views
With all this in my mind, I wondered, Is our PM, looking down upon us from some lofty windowed place, on the Hill. This sight, far below him, noisy and populated by thousands and thousands in the streets of our Capital Ottawa. What is he thinking ?

The MSM has to be banned for not telling the truth. The Convoy leadership is organized. It is disciplined and focused. Donations are being refunded ToGoFundMe.Com and re donated double.
Tow truckers have refused to tow "because they are sick with COVID." The ones that do come, join the convoy. The army has reportedly said that this is not their job. Some are calling on the Trades to next join the Convoy Freedom.
On the other side, the Conservative Party leader Erin O'Toole, has been ousted, and seeks a new leader. What is next. Vote of Non Confidence. If the Conservatives play their cards right, they are liable to form the next Majority Government. However, that is only if they do the right thing., and that is debatable. The only thing for sure, is that the cards have thrown in to the air.
Some think this is controlled opposition. Maybe. But then things change. History is replete with beginnings, that start off this way, and end up that way. Humans are resourceful, and some times unpredictable.
For me, Like In Queens Gambit, I am holding my breath, and waiting to see the final Act.

The CFBC22 participants are some what subdued, and disheartened, due to what has just happened. The Police blitz. Although feeling that way, they remain steadfast. They need a political solution. A solution made in Canada. From what I have seen personally, their support is very wide spread. Much more wide spread than anticipated or reported. I am convinced that more people are with us than we think. They were/are just scared. The CFBC22 expression, has released people from their fear, that has crimpled them. Resistance is solely Government related and fabricated. Police are just following orders. Many of them sympathetic . If I do not believe government and MSM, which I do not, then I have to believe, that support, nation wide is very substantial, much more than reported, or perceived. I personally talked to many Quebecers, they are very concerned, curfews are strict, and they are feed up. The Quebec locals are so concerned, that youths are sent forth to make a difference. They talk to me expressing grave concerns. They are mature beyond their age, beyond my age in retrospect. They are not interested in whether I can speak French or not, just what can we due, what must we do, to stop this madness. ‘Hi Quebec welcome”, “I love you”, “ We need each other right now”.
The police forces are calmed down right now. (TAOAUW). We need money directly to CFBC22. We need a political solution, from the Conservative and NDP faction. If you value freedom, and the Canadian Way Of Life, as it has been in the past, then you have to act now. You are sawing the branch upon which you sit upon. All of you will be affected, adversely. Think of your children, and grandchildren. All government officials, army, police, will all eventually be adversely affected. Your cottages, and your way of life, will disappear, if your are not diligent, to act appropriately.
These TRUCKERS, which I have personally talked to, are genuinely courageous, and steadfast. They are showing us the way out. Follow them, be inspired by them, support them financially and spiritually. Honk your horns now, everywhere all across this glorious land called Canada. Inspire the world to follow. This is a once in a life time event, perhaps even historically. I have been shaken to my core with these events and experiences. I have cried with joy and anticipation. Join us, all of you, who value FREEDOM. Braveheart was a movie. This is real, as real can get. Get behind this movement, AND PUSH.
