Covid -- A Mother's Perspective

Millions of other Moms like me have been locked in the house with kids.  Many of us had to quit our jobs.  We are bearing the emotional burden of this whole thing. We are doing everything we can to hold it together

This is a message for everyone. We're all in this together, Right?

Two weeks to slow the spread.  Don't see your elderly family members, don't have holidays with your families, don't get to close, other people are dangerous, its not safe to talk to another person, its not safe to go to small businesses but you can go to Wal Mart, stay home as much as possible, school is not safe for kids or teachers, sorry if you lost your job or business, we have a vaccine but there was no animal testing and you will be part of a trial and it does not necessarily prevent the spread.

Oops, now there are variants so we need to keep this up.  Other people are dangerous to you, so keep staying away from others.  People who choose not to wear masks are the reason why the epidemic has not slowed.

Additionally, in New York, thousands of elderly died because sick people were purposefully transferred there, and then the elderly people had to die alone.

This was all done by the government on purpose.

Oops, there is a sex scandal involved !!!! SEX!!!!!! WOW!!!!!! Okay, so let's forget all the old people who died alone and were pretty much sacrificed and let's focus on SEX!!!!!!!

Okay, pardon my rant.  I am just a Mom. A reading teacher who had to quit my job to stay home with my kids to homeschool them.

You know, just like women all over the country, who had to quit their jobs, to be teachers and lunch-ladies and stay home all day and take care of everyone.

Because our reasonable expectation of a child getting an education (FAPE Law) was waived for the pandemic, like the required animal testing trials for the vaccine.

Schools are closed or open a very small amount of time. Kids need to wear a mask because it's a crime for them to breathe and see a smile.  They are treated like disease ridden rats.

Millions of other Moms like me, have been locked in the house with kids.  Many of us had to quit our jobs.  We are bearing the emotional burden of this whole thing.  We are God's healers and heart-bound caretakers.

We are doing everything we can to hold it together.  We are trying to work but many of us can't.  We get the kids up, do homework and tech support work. We make lunches.  We try to make sure they get social time and exercise but not too much screen time.

Then we make dinner, do laundry and like me, go to the grocery store at 8pm.

9-5-job.jpeg
Bam and it starts all over the next day. I don't even know what day it is. We know of some teen suicides in our community because of the Lockdown but we try to make sure our kids are happy.

No kids have died of Covid but three high schoolers killed themselves.  Its so stressful!  We are just holding on. If we say anything, we get ridiculed, because women are now supposed to do everything because of Feminism.

We have to continue our natural healer and caretaker schtick (which is our essence) plus we work, plus now we have to do the governments job of teaching and being lunch lady.
WAIT......ARENT FEMINISTS SUPPOSED TO MAKE SURE THINGS ARE FAIR AND EQUITABLE FOR US??????

I mean, I thought this whole feminist thing would protect us from being too overburdened and having to be oppressed by unfairness.

Shouldn't we get some type of stipend if we had to quit our jobs?

I mean, maybe I am being selfish here, but I cannot do this all.  Schools are opening up now, but only two hours a day, and not serving lunch.  So I gotta be home and make lunches and drive all the kids back and forth.

Ahhhhhhh, is it just me, or is no one in the news talking about this situation thats been put down on women and children?

The kids in my neighborhood are so depressed.  My way of helping during this pandemic is I have an open-door policy. My door is open to any kid. Lots of kids stop by each day and knock on my door and have a chat with me. They are lonely.

Sometimes, they stay and hang out with my kids.  They wanna tell me dog hello sometimes and I do a little voice to sound like he is saying Hello back.

Do you know the young ones don't remember "normal life" now.  They think life is lonely.  They don't hardly remember the fun of being with other people.

We all need to do something to keep kids happy right now.  This is terrible. It's a crime against humanity.

Feminists, you are full of shit!  Men, can you stand up for us? Please do what you can, everyone!!!

First Comment from Maria: Lockdown a Blessing in Disguise? re. Home Schooling

Diane:  I hear you.  However, I think sending your children back to school is NOT the answer.  Schools are not good places right now, and have not been good for some time.  I think what needs to happen is that women need to start helping each other.  Are there home schooling organizations where you live?  Is there a neighbour lady that you could exchange child care with now and then, as children do need to interact with other children?  Plus, I am sure you need other mothers to talk with!  Don't listen to the lie about staying away from others.  It is a lie.

Also, there are some really good books on home schooling.  I will list three of them here: How to Home School in Canada by Lisa Marie Fletcher Whoever Controls the Schools Rules the World by Gary DeMar They're Your Kids by Sam Sorbo.

I am a retired older lady who would be more than willing to go for a walk, take a child to the park, or even a bike ride.  Probably there are other women besides me who would love to help - if asked.

Also, there are home schooling supports out there.  Get yourself involved in some of them, and your thinking will change quickly.  Or, start your own support group if there is nothing locally.   You won't want to send your children back to a public school ever again.

I used to work as a child care provider.  I am of the strong belief that mothers should be home to take care of their children.  Children bond with their immediate caregiver.  That is a reality.  Hope this is helpful.  You did reach out, and I sense you are a capable, caring person.

If this lockdown has any positive fallout, it would be to convince more & more families to pull their kids out of the government run education system and to homeschool. Public education run by unionized teachers who chase the latest instructional "fads" (ebonics, Common Core, social justice) instead of imparting the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic are crippling kids mentally and emotionally for life. What are public schools anymore but dens of bullying, indoctrination and shaming that are driving record numbers of kids to commit suicide or die needlessly? Administrators adamantly refuse to stop the bullying, instead blaming the victim as in the recent Diego Stolz case.

Stressed moms forced to quit their day jobs just prove what Aaron Russo revealed years ago in his crusading documentary Freedom To Fascism: getting women out of the home and into the workplace was the elites' goal to harvest revenue from all the labor they performed in the home that couldn't be taxed any other way. Public schools have just become costly (in per capita expenditures) daycare centers to warehouse kids for working moms while leaving them unprepared to compete in a global economy of the future. Families need to get back to basics and kick the government out of their everyday lives. David

I do NOT believe that this is an “Experimental vaccination,” this Frankenstein concoction will of sat on a shelf gathering dust for some time, waiting to be used.

All of this “Pantomime” of lockdowns, social distancing, mask wearing etc. has been to encourage the people to accept the vaccination.

They are calling it an “Experimental vaccine” so that when people get the adverse reactions they can say, “We told you it was experimental, we take no responsibility.”

While I understand Diane's frustration with the Coronavirus hoax, I do not understand her preferring her career over her primary duty which is to care for her husband, children, and home, in that order, uncomplainingly.

Had it not been for selfless women doing this in America for centuries, today’s women wouldn’t be here, and it’s shameful their selfish decisions are wrecking the nation the selfless women of yesterday built.

Society has conditioned women to think getting an education, and a job is superior to staying home and having as many children as they can.

This started back in 1913, when Wilson passéd the income tax. This worked to disable the man from being able to support a wife and children on one income. George Gilder remarked on it in his fabulous book, that the two factors that lead to a successful society is men need to be able to make enough to shoot their family on one income, and the society needs to encourage this, AND to discourage all sex outside of heterosexual marriage. The lying media constantly cries about the theft of land from the “noble savages”, but, the Indians of North and South America were extremely promiscuous. So, just like God punished the Jews for their promiscuity in the Bible, so he punished the Indians for theirs.

Right after Wilson passed the income tax, on August 18th, 1920, women were given the right to vote, a massive disaster. This marked the transfer of leadership over the women and children of society from the husband and men, to an invisible government of bankers who control the corporations, media, schools, and tech companies.

I recommend Diane read “The Transformed Wife”. https://thetransformedwife.com/fearing-the-coronavirus/ . Of course, the corrupt media attacks Lori whenever possible. https://www.the-sun.com/news/544889/coronavirus-for-food-women-pushed-back-home-christian-blogger/

Whatever stress Diane feels being home to take care of her kids is nothing to the stress the kids will face later in life as a result of not being raised by their mother.

Essel said (April 4, 2021):

Yes, well, if this woman's complaint contains some truths, it shows above all that the plaintiff has been well inoculated against what is natural and healthy, to take maternal care of her children, her husband and their living environment to go outside to put herself at the service of an anonymous boss who will treat her like an interchangeable resource.

She regrets having to take care of the education of her children herself, regretting the time when this major duty was subcontracted to mercenaries (see the Gospel of the Good Shepherd) obeying the evil directives of the hand of the one who feeds them, Big Brother.

All we can hope is that this forced and unexpected return will make some people take a liking to this life in conformity with the Natural Law.
However, home schooling, already forbidden in Germany since Hitler, has just been banned in France for the next school year. So what will be the solution? The kidnapping of the children? Unfortunately, this is only probable.

Connie said (April 4, 2021):

Reading teacher, you have never been more free as you are in lockdown. For once, YOU are now the sole determiner of how you conduct your domestic life. It’s not easy, but life is never easy! Send those kids back to school and you will have rejoined the rat race. SLOWER is better. Choose your own curriculum, there are free ones online. You can teach, but must let go of the teacher’s burden of perfectionism. Your job is to create a FAMILY, not scholars. Those kids will remember it, and take care of you in your old age.

If you don’t like your own kids, fix it. Demand more chores from them until you do. Kids can make their own lunches, even scramble eggs for dinner. They can sort clothes for laundry. Give them creative outlets so they get lost in them and stop badgering you for things to do. Be happy you are not an old woman like me who lives alone. As for tomorrow, forget about it, it will be nothing like you imagined, anyway. For now, you get to skip the part where they teach your kids about choosing their gender! You have been handed a gift, make the best of it!

And no masks in the house! You'd be surprised how many are doing this!

David said (April 4, 2021):

I was raised and have known from the beginning that relying on the government for anything, could someday create a problem.

Ronald Reagan's comments, in the eighties, confirmed that.

Getting an education and getting a job through the normal system, didn't sound right.

I had concluded that employee was another name for slave.

Being self-sufficient is crucial. Planning for the storm is necessary.

So in my family there hasn't been a lot of disruption, these days.

Haven't heard any fretting. They are well aware of what's going on.

My grandchildren do their chores and school lessons as usual. As they have always been homeschooled. They don't get to go shopping as often, but they make their own fun activities (projects) with dad's and mom's help.

So the sacrifices (time and finances) my wife and I made in the nineties with my children, who were homeschooled, growing up, has become a blessing during Covid.

I know it's not popular and a bit old fashioned, but my children are entrepreneurs, operating their successful businesses on a debt free basis, which has given them great resilience in these times.
Thankfully, there is a better way. I was able to find it, and pass it on.
