We got a good location for our grocery and not too much competition unlike in Kampala where competition is very much and rental charges and taxes, etc are very high. We are renting a two business block, front and back part front for the display of the products and the back part for storage and stocking of commodities purchased from our suppliers located at Kampala, Uganda's capital city, and biggest commercial center in Uganda.
Every month, we are required to pay both house rent for where we live and business block rent for our grocery store. The distance from our rental house to our grocery store is roughly half a kilometer. Also, there is an urgent need for us to hire security personnel most especially at night to guard our business in order to prevent thieves from breaking into our grocery. Sadly we experienced that in the past and we did not have the financial means to do so.so, we would not want that to happen again.
Crime rates like robbery is very rampant here in Uganda due to the high unemployment rate and poverty. Due to much poverty and Covid-19 Scamdemic most Ugandans like in most African nations are in great misery and suffering due to lack of food, shelter, medication, etc. Sadly some people end up committing suicide because there is no hope left for them to care for their families.
I was once among those who had lost hope in the past. Thankfully I never reached that sad extent of committing suicide or engage in any criminal activity. My faith and hope were and still is in God, our creator who never forsakes those truly believing and trusting HIM. HE is a God of love, mercy, and miracles.
My wife and I greatly thank all those who are sending some assistance to us through our dear friend Mr. Henry Makow so that we have a better life. In the grocery, we feel blessed to have some source of regular income for our family needs.
Also, it is required of us to hire a small truck/pickup to transport our purchased items from our suppliers found in Kampala all the way to our grocery store location found in the Entebbe area. Both commodity and transport prices have doubled due to the current global Covid-19 Scamdemic which has greatly affected the economic sector.
Also, there are strict measures put up by the Uganda government to all business owners to follow rules and regulations due to the scamdemic. these strict measures include wearing of face masks, social distancing, using sanitizers, etc. So here my wife and I prayerfully use wisdom where needed because those found disobeying are arrested and imprisoned or their businesses closed down by the authorities in Uganda.
Also, curfew time was extended from 7 Pm to 9 Pm. So people are expected to be in their homes before curfew time. In many cases, it becomes very difficult for some people to beat the curfew most especially those who have to travel to and from the Kampala, as there is too much traffic and many people end up being arrested or getting their automobiles confiscated.
As true believers in God and in Jesus Christ, we put our full faith and trust in God for our provision and protection. HE is a GOD of Mercy, Love, and Miracles! From my personal experience, In the past, I had lost hope to take care of my family including a lack of financial means to pay school fees for the schooling of my children.
Thankfully God made a great miracle in my life whereby He made great provisions for my family. I greatly thank our dear friend Mr. Henry Makow for His love and kindness by giving me a helping hand and all others who have contributed for the welfare of my family.
God is Love and we should demonstrate love to our fellow beings regardless of their race or nationality. Please, thank you for loving me and my family. Now as a family, we have great hope to have a good life during these trying times.
Satan and his agents are trying to discourage us, to take away our freedom and enslave us. We should not allow that. We should stay strong. And put our full trust in God who is our creator and the ruler of this universe.
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mightily through God to the pulling down of strongholds: Chasing down imaginations and every high thing. That exalted itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ_ (2Cor.10:3-5). Satan and his agents will be defeated. This I humbly testify in the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN.

I find it so incredibly refreshing, and I must say that it touches me, that you are supporting this Christian Ugandan family. I don't know if you are a Christian or not, but I've been following you for years and I just really appreciate your courage and great tolerance towards Christianity and coverage of other subjects most people shy away from. Thank you! I've been a Christian since 1987 and I have to say that your love of the truth far surpasses that of many Christians I've known.
