Sir Israel Brodie KBE (10 May 1895, Newcastle - 13 February 1979) was the Chief Rabbi of Great Britain and the Commonwealth 1948-1965. He was a Freemason, rising to the senior appointment of 'Grand Chaplain' in the United Grand Lodge of England.
