House was saying he thought Hearst's papers weren't dumbed down enough. But Hearst's competitor was Joseph Pulitzer - the Hungarian immigrant that could barely speak English.
Never-the-less both Hearst and Pulitzer were war mongers - for slightly different reasons, perhaps.

An alleged quote of Woodrow Wilson after his stroke goes, "I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country." Quoted all over the internet, unfortunately nobody bothers to list original sources when they use such quotes, and that doesn't help us.
Fortunately, someone finally has tracked this one down to:

"President Woodrow Wilson-( After breaking with the engineers of the Fed Act, and near his death), "I am a most unhappy man; unwittingly I have ruined my country..."

My grandfather was in his 20's when Wilson was President, and I learned from him how much history of that period was public knowledge at the time, but since has been completely erased from the the history books, and public memory.

America seems to be indeed the only country in the world which holds at it`s core principles to protect the individual from the tyranny of social coercion and approval, standing instead for the individual pragmatism and industry.

I have known about much of this information for a very long time, well before the age of the Internet!

The one thing that has become very clear to me about this renewed feudalization of the world like in the past, is that the agenda remains relatively the same.

I guess it is fairly frustrating because so many people/writers/thinkers raise these great issues on the Net and yet offer no solutions and course of action except to call one's congress critter. As if that would facilitate change. Moreover the end result of having all the ills pointed out as well as the vastness of the corruption is actually quite depressing, especially when one is surrounded by friends, relatives, colleagues, and the wider public who are not aware of the impending crisis, and behave like stupid cattle - just shopping and eating.

I am not having a 'pop' at you mate, just find it frustrating, knowing what is going on, yet powerless in our own strength to do much. I rejoice in Christ however knowing that only God can sort the mess out.

Wow, Henry, you've got some potent stuff up this week! Tons of information not known by most Americans including myself. Americans
tend to think the world revolves around them and what goes on in the "lesser" nations doesn't carry much weight.

But, to me, the most important line from this week's articles is,"Unorganized Jewry needs to repudiate Organized Jewry." The reason
being, as you are certainly aware, that "antisemitism" (anti Jew) is
aimed at the unorganized Jew to keep him fiercely afraid of the goy world, which planted fear keeps him "in line" and keeps his cash flowing
