I am retired and have lived in Dearborn Michigan for years. Saturday, I contacted the Dearborn City Counsel and called a radio program again to protest the negative propaganda that so called "Alternative Media" is putting out about Muslims in Dearborn, MI.
Dearborn is actually frequently referred to as Dearbornistan thanks to this exaggerated and negative spin.
I have lived in the center of Dearborn Michigan for decades and I have never had one bit of trouble with any of my Arab neighbors -- Muslim or Christian. Indeed, they treat me with the greatest respect and are good neighbors and are friendly and helpful. My favorite restaurant in town is owned by a Christian Arab who employs Muslims and everyone greets each other with a kiss.
My phone calls into these radio programs are not always popular because people seem to prefer to believe sweeping generalizations, to fear the assigned scapegoat, and hate rather than thoughtfully consider and research to see if what they heard was accurate. They do not ask the question "Who benefits" from this?
There is obviously an agenda at play for the stories that circulate about Dearborn the way they do. I assure you that Michigan Ave in not in flaming riot. There are no decapitated heads swinging from the lamp posts. Yes, I exaggerate but I do have to try to dispel rumors regularly.
Here is what I wrote to the Dearborn City Council and to the Mayor:
"Please listen to this audio from about one minute in for a few minutes. Alex Jones' guest speaker, the so-called Clinton insider whistle blower Larry Nichols., is saying [Obama] is telling the Islamic refugees Not to assimilate and that Dearborn will eventually...become an Islamic caliphate. First, is there ANY truth to these statements and second how do we get these people to shut up?!! Can the city sue for defamation? The negative propaganda about Dearborn is making us sound like a ghetto or worse. This is adversely affecting our property values and tourism. I have lived here for years and have not had one minute's trouble with my neighbors. I also keep hearing that we have Sharia law in place here despite my denials. B, "Thanks for your email this morning. It couldn't have come at a better time. I just responded to an inquiry about the sharia law rumor, which I get about once a week. It IS disheartening, I agree, to have to keep responding to these ridiculous allegations. A couple years ago a satirical web site (The National Report) ran a humorous "fake" news article stating that the Dearborn City Council had enacted sharia law. Unfortunately, some people thought it was a factual article especially when it was reposted on Facebook out of context of the satirical site. There was absolutely no basis in fact to this article. The City of Dearborn considers itself an "All American City". We are ruled by the United States Constitution and the laws of the State of Michigan. We would NEVER consider taking such an action, it would be contrary to what our Constitution holds as basic human rights, such as freedom of religion." L
ALTERNATIVE MEDIA OR ZIONIST SHILLS?
I did research on some of the radio personalities. Many seem to promote Zionism. Several of these people are guests on Coast to Coast and go back and forth to each other's shows validating/promoting each other and the need to be afraid of many things including a Muslim threat. In actuality, They are an organized group who are at the very least friends and or business associates who profit from the fear of Muslims and other things by selling survival products and books. Alex Jones, Stan Deyo, Doug Hagmann, Paul McGuire, Steve Quayle, Dave Hodges are all part of the group. Rev Terry Jones who is aggressive but to my knowledge is not selling things or part of the above group.
Rick Wiles appears to be loosely associated with this group and he is influential. His comments below are in my opinion typical of the shared mindset. He is reported by Right Wing Watch to have made the statements below.
"We have been taken over!" So said Rick Wiles last week on "The Jim Bakker Show," warning the studio audience that "we have been taken over" by Muslims. Wiles, who hosts the End Times radio program "Trunews," bravely declared that he will stand up and fight the Muslim takeover to his death. "I am not surrendering this nation to Muslims," he said while pounding on his desk, as an audience member blew a shofar. Wiles: We have been taken over. We have been taken over. Bakker: Aren't you afraid to say that? Wiles: No! They are..."
I first started to research these people because of their promotion of a Canadian who calls himself Dr. Jim Garrow. Garrow was so easy to expose as having questionable credentials that frankly I was embarrassed for him. I was so shocked that the radio personalities did not see this themselves or care when I informed them that I looked at them as well..
Although these appear to be rather low level people and somewhat of a joke, please do not under estimate their potential for causing harm as they do have quite an impact on a significant portion of the "Patriot" and "Evangelical Christian" crowd. It is my opinion that they seem to specialize in information that tends to support a pro-Zionist agenda.
It is also my opinion that George Noory and John B. Wells appear to be pro Zionist. OBTW John B Wells participated in a conference with some of the radio hosts listed above last week end in Dallas. Because the conference took place over the Vernal Equinox and on the 33rd degree parallel I had to wonder if the date and location was chosen deliberately and are they Freemasons?

Thanks "B" for a great post. Fear porn is a powerful weapon and is being used on a daily basis by the Neo-Con Zionist who now rule America. It breaks my heart to say it, but Americans have become some of the most uneducated, ill informed morons the world has ever seen. Critical thinking skills have become all but obsolete in this country. If you heard it on FOX, CNN, or the controlled alternative media such as Infowars it has got to be gospel. No one would dare consider researching anything for themselves. It is much easier to believe a lie than search for the truth.
We have all fallen victim to their mind control tactics at one time or another. It is only through a deep desire to find the truth that we will be able to pull the curtain back and expose the man pulling the levers. If people in this country don't wise up and quit believing the bull shit, the globalist will have their third world war, one world government, and the end of any semblance of freedom and liberty.
As for me, I have little hope America can ever be righted. People walk around in an electronic fog, joined at the hip with their portable communication device. Why they can barely still speak. The only words that matter in their vocabulary are I, Me, and MY. Self indulgence is the law of the land. Satan is the prince of this world and he now rules with a velvet glove, as the iron fist is no longer needed. God help us all.

Henry thanks for posting B's article about Dearborn, which is only 20 miles from where I grew up and currently live.
It's not a beacon of democracy and tolerance but nor does it have any Islamic flare. Dozens of bars line up and down Michigan avenue
Most of the Arabs there are Lebanese and Iraqi Shiites with some Yemenis - none of those people come from countries with a tradition in Sharia law, so hence it is easy for them to assimilate and adapt
Basically they're interested in the all mighty dollar. Unfortunately they are not well educated and don't attempt to be a part of the civil society that makes America great, that which their Lebanese Christian compatriots decided they wanted to be a part of.
One of your readers Al Thompson said his kid was told in school that they all have to do the "religious exercise" known as the Hajj - lol, all the kids were forced to travel to Mecca on a pilgrimage??

Do Americans have anything to fear when it comes to Muslim fanatics, of course. But when you compare this threat to the threat from other fundamentalist Semitic religious interpretations, it doesn't compare. One set may try to kill a few dozen while the other is set on the enslavement of Billions!!

Personally I think modesty is a good thing, but I'm pointing out that Jewish Canon law is alive and well in the big apple and that these laws run 100% counter to American values, yet nobody makes a big deal out of it.
God help true Christians that have to put up with these two religions!
