According to World News Daily, Queers are coming into their own with respect to militant behavior.

Ian McKellen's X-MEN character, Magneto, delivers a short speech which characterizes the attitude and behavior of witchcraft-driven rebels:

His role in the 1995 film "Jeffrey" urged the gay community to keep having sex no matter what. Disease? Keep having sex. Partners dying from AIDS? Keep having sex. Confusion? Keep having sex.
One of the closing scenes in this film featured an apparition of the spirit of a deceased gay man, having succumbed to AIDS complications, urging faith in homosexual sex.

He was speaking of mind control, through rape and powerful mind-programming.

If the X-Men characters in the movie represent militant homosexuals, then the war against the cure as shown in the movie represents the all-too-real political battle being waged today against psychological treatments for homosexuality.
If homosexuality is a mutation, then it is a mutation based around unmet emotional needs, usually caused by a poor relationship with the father and an over-identification with the mother.
Although they often come across as nice guys, homosexuals usually carry around a lot of suppressed rage. This rage is caused by unresolved trauma. The most effective method for curing homosexuality involves developing a healthy relationship with a male therapist whilst the therapist helps his client to overcome his traumas using an effective trauma release therapy such as EMDR.
Faith-based cures tend to be of limited effectiveness, as they are based around repression and spirituality whilst all-but-ignoring the root cause. Psychological treatments usually work at a deeper level, and can be effective in helping men to discover their heterosexual potential. It is not a simple process however. No-one is claiming a 100% cure rate, and the therapy sessions themselves can be quite expensive.
Contrary to the claims of gay activists, psychotherapy for homosexuality is not about repression, and those who do not benefit from it are not harmed by it.
At its root, homosexuality is a developmental disorder. Whilst we cannot condone the aggressive actions of the gay lobby, we should still show compassion towards those who are suffering due to their sexual desires being in conflict with their deeply held religious beliefs.
