Money Scandal Behind Papal Coup d'Etat

February 11, 2013

Left, The Ex Pope and the New Pope? Joseph Ratzinger (l) and the palace coup-master, Cardinal Bertone

To understand the Pope's resignation,
Kevin Annett says, "Follow the money."

"What sounded the death knell on Pope Benedict was his personal involvement in the bribery and money-laundering practices of the Vatican Bank."

by Kevin Annett

Theories are abounding now that the first pope in seven centuries is resigning his office. But as usual, finding the truth behind the world's oldest corporation is simply to follow the money: and specifically, Vatican Bank money.

First of all, let's put to rest, the fallacy that "looming scandals" about child rape and coverup are behind Joseph Ratzinger's resignation. That's just the cover story.

Nobody in the church hierarchy is losing sleep over their standing, canon-law endorsed policy of concealing and protecting child rapists in their ranks. Even the International Criminal Court application about such crimes has been stymied by catholic-run legislators and jurists.

What sounded the death knell on Pope Benedict was his personal involvement in the bribery and money-laundering practices of the Vatican Bank, comically known as The Institute of Religious Works (IOR). That dirty connection gave the anti-Ratzinger faction in the College of Cardinals the needed leverage to dump the obstinate German from the papal throne.

We had a whiff of that dump-Rat Boy agenda last year, when "Vatileaks" broke a ludicrous story of how Ratzinger's loyal butler Paolo Gabriele disclosed the pope's dirty secrets to the Italian media.

In fact, the damning documents detailing Ratzinger's secret rewarding of Vatican contracts to his friends and family members originated in the Vatican Secretary of State's office, which the fall-guy butler could not have had access to.

The Secretary of State and the real power behind the papacy is Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, an old insider who also engineered the sacking of Gotti Tedeschi, head of the Vatican Bank, last May.

Tedeschi had embraced the call of the European Parliament for "greater transparency" by the Vatican Bank /IOR, and was about to disclose to Brussels how his bosses had been laundering money for the mob for decades. The last Pope who had tried such a disclosure, John Paul 1, died from poisoning in September, 1978 after less than a month in office.

But even with Tedeschi silenced, the IOR house of cards kept tumbling, as the European Parliament seized from it 300 million Euros fraudulently acquired. Even the American Securities and Exchange Commission declared the IOR's assets and practices "insecure". A major Vatican housecleaning was required; or at least, the appearance of one.

It was the pivotal Cardinal Bertone who leaked the pope's diary and other incriminating papers to a catholic-friendly journalist in Rome last year (the same month that Tedeschi was sacked,) to prepare the world for Ratzinger's removal. For it is Bertone who is now reaping the benefits of the papal housecleaning. He is not only a primary contender for the pope's position but a key player in the IOR.

During my second speaking tour in Rome, in the spring of 2010, I met with several senior Italian senators and officials of the parliamentary Radical Party. They all said the same thing about why Joseph Ratzinger had been made pope, and what awaited him. To quote one of these politicians,

"Nobody becomes pope without a sordid past, because only with such liabilities can he be controlled by the Curia. It's the same in any big company. Well, Ratzinger made many indiscretions as a Cardinal and made many enemies. His signing letters ordering criminal concealment was just one sin. He was to be the scapegoat for all of the trash that the church knew would surface"

So now, the papal scapegoat is gone, pensioned off to wherever ex-popes end up; and the time for the big face-saving lie has arrived.

Putting lipstick on a decaying facade like the Church of Rome reminds me of Shirley MacLaine trying to look forty at the age of ninety. And yet appearances are everything in show business as well as in religion.

Tarcisio Bertone represents the old Italian crowd of the Curia, who are part of the Mob-government-papal clique that run the country and the Roman Catholic church. In the words of one of the Roman Senators I spoke with,

"You must understand that in my country, the Mafia and the government and the Vatican are all the same people, and they really have only one concern: protecting their assets."

Bertone, or whoever from the ranks of his victorious faction does assume the papal tiria, cannot be expected to do much but maintain the assets and security of the church, and that means continuing the policies of silence and dissimulation that keeps the cash flowing. But their position is more difficult now in the wake of the enormous rifts developing within the wider church, where Cardinals are facing criminal prosecution for shielding child rapists, and talk of disaffiliating from Rome is widespread among Irish, American and German Bishops.

"We have all the grounds for a second Reformation now. That's how serious is the crisis. The church will either rid itself of itself or face collapse" said an Italian media commentator recently.

It was easy to despise Joseph Ratzinger: the Hitler Youth-raised, reactionary bigot who sacked liberal and independent thinkers in his church as the Cardinal-head of the Vatican Inquisition, and who told American Bishops that purgatory awaited any of them who did not cover up priestly child rape. Even among fellow Cardinals, he was known as "Joe the Rat".

But Ratzinger was a made to order object-of-hatred, and put there to play out the oldest game in politics: the venting of popular rage on a disposable figurehead so that the institution itself could proceed unscathed.

I doubt that it's coincidental that Ratzinger was forced out of office so quickly barely ten days after our Common Law court published online hard evidence of the Pope's involvement in crimes against humanity. Any new Pope will face the same charges, of colluding in a massive criminal conspiracy.

But the real issue is not who or what will replace Joseph Ratzinger, but how to displace the Vatican itself as a criminal power unto itself. And that struggle is just commencing.

I wrote to Leo Zagami in Rome, asking if Annett's accusations have merit.  His reply:

Yes and there is much more to it I had previously published in my latest books and I am coming out in Italy next month in March 2013 with two new books one called The Invisible Masters of the NWO (I Maestri Invisibili del NWO)  published by TERRE SOMMERSE that brings some new answers to the Ratzinger story as I had already wrote about the link with the murder plot and his possible resignation one year ago and all the strange developments connected to it that took place in 2012 including the scandal of the MPS Bank (Monte dei Paschi di Siena)  tied  to the IOR and international Freemasonry and  the visit in March 2013 of Queen Elisabeth II in Rome , this book is co-written with journalist Enrica Perucchietti. Leo Zagami is as you know considered even in Italy on the biggest experts on Vatican secrets and another book will came out by two of the most respected Vaticanist Feruccio Pinotti e Giacomo Galeazzi Vaticano massone. Un patto segreto e una finta inimicizia
that will include a chapter on Vatican Freemasonry and the latest events by myself Leo Zagami.

And  I have been now  been offered to write also a instant book with my journalist colleague Enrica Perucchietti on the particularity of the month of March as all Catholics will become sedevacantist for once.

Second Comment from Richard on the Prophesy of the Popes:

Cardinal Bertone is the Secretary of State of the Roman Curia, the structure that actually runs the Roman Church.   As with the President of the United States, the Papal role is largely figurative.  Theoretically he heads the Curia, but the real boss is Secretary of State.

Now, here's something that occurred to me tonight from the information that's come out.

The Prophecy of the Popes, attributed to Saint Malachy, is a list of 112 short phrases in Latin. They purport to describe each of the Roman Catholic popes (along with a few anti-popes), beginning with Pope Celestine II (elected in 1143) and concluding with current pope Benedict XVI's successor.

Bertone.jpg(Left, Bertone giving an expert Masonic grip to a brother in Australia in 2007.)

The Prophecy of the Popes calls this last Pope "Peter the Roman".  Nobody can resist a good prophecy.  There's been buzz today on Catholic channels about Bertone's full name being Cardinal Tarcisio PIETRO Bertone of Romano, Turin, Italy.

You see the prophecy says this last Pope will pontificate over the destruction of Rome.  A lot of bets were placed last year that Benedict XVI would be gone in 2012 so the last Pope could be seated before December 21st.  (Only problem was that Catholics never used the Mayan long count Calendar. - a little humor there..)

Rumors that Bertone's election is a done deal because of his power with the Curia and the Italian faction may be  overstated.  Of 120 cardinal electors, only 28 are Italians, and nearly half are Hispanic, African and various Asian and others.

Marcio (Masonic Rep of Brazil) said (February 14, 2013):

After the masonic coup d'etat in 1958 and its consequent Vatican II Council, the mob, the masons and the Jews have ruled Rome and it has become the Babylonian Prostitute of the Apocalypse. The Antichrist has had his seat there until now (John Paul II was "his" best vicar, followed by John XXIII and Paul VI - that is why John Paul - a continuation of the crime story). Traditional Catholics have clearly denounced that.

There must be many reasons for the Popes resignation from office, and that may be one of them.

But what impresses me most is the Italian politicians, some of the most dishonest ones on earth (Brazilian ones have overtaken them), even involved with the mafia mob and undeniably masonic, are saying that about the Pope. Simply laughable, not to say hypocritical.

I bet the next Pope will be either Asian or African (they are better Catholics than American and European clergy). And he will probably be much younger in order to be able to deal with the ordeals. He does not need to be Italian, Roman or European to be a true Roman to be crowned a successor of St. Peter. It has to do with his attitude. Anyway, the kingdom of Antichrist has counted days and we must be a few years away from The Day (as a rock song said in the 80's, "it is the final countdown"). I bet on a Phillipino cardinal. Time will tell...

Re the Pope's successor. Someone points out that St. Malachy had said the last pope would be Petrus Romanus. But he forgot that popes usually choose their papal names. I think it would be a Peter but probably an Italian from Rome. This cardinal had shaken up a few people when he wrote that the new Pope Benedict was proposing a World Political Authority. I guess that's what these wolves disguised like lambs have in mind - as well as a one-world religion. We're in trouble!

If you look at you will see that the African Cardinal - Peter Turkson - is known as Peter the Roman because he got his education in Rome. He's the one who wrote that piece.

We're in for trouble. I'll send you the link for Pedro Regis' messages. If you skim through it, you will see a long, long list of catastrophes around the world. We're going to be punished. I will go through them slowly. I've got message 3,715 separate. "When everything seems lost, the Lord will transform the earth."

There will be a permanent sign (a luminous cross I think) above all genuine Marian shrines - like Medjugorje, Lourdes, Fatima, etc. and we will have the Warning - when we see where we stand with God - a sort of near-death experience and very scary. Don't have a heart attack! Marian Catholics have known about this since Garabandal, Spain - in the 1960s. The trouble is that most of us are not praying as hard as we should. If you have time and money, make a trip to Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzogovina. There you will see signs from God. Solar phenomena. If you take a camera along, you might be given a miraculous image on your negative. I have 2. One is hard to see - you have to jiggle it to catch the sun at the right angle. The second is more obvious, but quite mysterious and it took me years (I'm not very spiritual) before I realized it was a glimpse of the Crucifixion. It's an image of little heads - some with beards - looking towards - a head (Christ) and another head (ministering angel). I finally realized the outstretched arm was on the cross.

I beg to differ with Mr. Annett. That IS the real issue:- to make way for the End-time anti-Christ.

Annett IS on the legal end of globalization with the International God-less Common Law Courts.

Steven said (February 12, 2013):

It would not surprise me that if the next Pope was a back to basics reformer the Freemasons and elements of the Jewish community would attempt to persecute the church and its followers... A corrupt church they would tolerate but a spiritually strong in the Lord church they would love to kill if they couldn't corrupt it. Another thing to remember is that the real biblical city of seven hills that really matters is Jerusalem and not Rome.

O said (February 12, 2013):

This is the most corrupted religious organization on the face of the earth, and all goes back to 1982 with the Banco Ambrosiano affair, as a few years later found out why the Vatican was established as a separate State.

It was to execute the status of Diplomatic immunity, and if you ever wondered why a religious organization has Diplomats running all over the world with suitcases that are sealed with internationally immunity to be searched?

There was a time in my life that had an office dealing with clients that had big money, and one day was approached by someone I knew, and said do you have any clients with big money somewhere that is frozen? I said yes, so he said want you to meet someone.

It was all a matter of me charging a fee of say 5% on the capital, as the Pope at that time wanted to get his money back and he told me who I would be meeting, as would be a Vatican Diplomat with an agenda, so we met.

The first thing I wanted to see was his Diplomatic passport, and other identification which he had, and what he said was a wake up for me, as they could move financial assets out of most countries under the direction of the Pope and they would be charging a 10% fee to get the money out as a tithe, and could charge a brokerage fee as well, so we could all make money; they would move gold, cash, or investment assets with Diplomatic immunity. I said was not interested, and showed him the door.

I'm in the "Ratzinger was a scapegoat" camp, and a planned one at that. Nothing "just happens" when Illuminati and their money are involved. They are eagerly looking forward to the culmination of their plans to completely destroy the Catholic Church, but be advised, in spite of the appearances soon to come, it is already a fait accompli.

The next pope will appear to the public as really holy. He will purport to be a Great Restorer who will supposedly bring a New Springtime to the Church, but this Peter The Roman will be anything but. He will be privately as dissolute and corrupt as any "old Roman". He will indeed preside over the final collapse of the institutional Catholic Church and usher in the era of the supposed Great Monarch.

Peter the Roman will be the final cattle call to rope traditionalists back into the Church before handing the faithful over to the One World Religion under the Anti-Christ who will be the self-proclaimed Great Monarch they are all expecting.

Doug said (February 12, 2013):

Kevin Annette's article is poppycock. I agree with your first comment from Dan.

Also, we have to contend with St. Malachy.

Dan said (February 12, 2013):

Annett is a boor. He's whipped out his old United Church of Canada collar to play holier than thou on his soap box pulpit again. Queen Elizabeth was his Pope.. He has a fantastic ego to believe he has an inside track to what goes on in Italian politics - much less the Vatican. Is he going to produce some more animal bones and palm them off as child sacrifice evidence from the Catacombs tour?

Ratzinger's clearly been feeble for years. The man's tired. He wants a year or two of retirement to make his peace with God. That's all there is to it.

My prediction is the next pope will be African.
