Christine Grady, Anthony Fauci's wife and one of the most powerful bioethicists in the United States for nearly three decades, apparently has a new method for communicating with the American public.
She flips them off. On Thursday, hours after the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee voted 8-5 to hold Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress, Fauci emerged from his $2.4 million Washington home looking decidedly unhappy and wheeled the recycling to the curb.
It had been a rough day. Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment 111 times during congressional questioning. The committee then voted along party lines to hold him in contempt.
Then came Mrs. Fauci. Fauci climbed into the passenger seat of a vehicle driven by Grady. As they pulled away, the NY Post photographer outside their home received an unmistakable one-finger salute from the former chief of the NIH Clinical Center's Department of Bioethics.

Canada runs one of the largest assisted-death programs in the world. In 2024, 16,499 people died by MAiD - up 6.9% from the year before, after 2023's toll of 15,343 accounted for nearly one in twenty deaths in this country. You would think a program of that scale, administered by the state, ending lives at industrial volume, would report its numbers the way we report anything else that kills Canadians: promptly, completely, and in a form the public can interrogate.
MAiD may be defensible policy. That debate is legitimate. What is not defensible is a state killing program that reports its dead on a two-year delay and shrugs at its own demographics. Transparency is the minimum price of a program like this. Ottawa isn't paying it - and until it does, every annual report should be read as what it is: a press release, not an accounting.

Canadian Forces issue new "NO" prayer rule at events
Canadian Armed Forces chaplains have been directed to stop delivering faith-specific prayers during official military ceremonies, replacing them with non-religious "spiritual reflections" under a new directive issued by the Department of National Defence.
"Spiritual reflections do not use religious specific language, including references to God," the directive states. Instead, they should draw on "lessons learned, beliefs, values and experiences to inspire gratitude, remembrance, hope and integrity."

A community like Orania would not be controversial at all if it was made up of black isolationists, or Asians, or Hispanics, etc. In fact, it would be celebrated. It is treated as radioactive by the media specifically because the town was created by white people FOR white people. Their goal? To preserve their western principles and heritage and, most of all, to protect themselves from pillaging tribes and communists.
There are two common reactions to Orania: 1) Black influencers, surprised by the peace and relative tranquility of the town, ask "why can't black people have something like this...?"
2) South African politicians and thought leaders ask "How can we take away what these people have built and keep it for ourselves...?"
The answer to both questions is uncomfortable for most westerners in the US and Europe to think about, but it is a fact we desperately need to consider and embrace. They can't copy Orania because they are socially and in some cases genetically incapable (the average IQ of Africans is 70). They can't steal it for themselves because as soon as they take it over, the town will turn to shit and collapse.
