Ideology
Ideology is a tenacious business-model (how not to lose resources perpetually). By now communism is about exterminating the relics of Western freedom to operate, en-route to global oppression. There's not a word spouted about production means, scientific education or strength.
Comparison with old Communism Communism started-out a labor-intensive ideology, and succumbed to ubiquitous computation implementing robots and personal-computers (smartphones included) everywhere. This was an openly stated and long process - also from the mid-1960s onward.
Conclusion
The Mamdani revolution is a replacement to the labor-intensive ideology, this time round not for rebuilding from home, rather for extinguishing the light from within - for darkness to penetrate.

You are correct, it is a charade. However, part of the charade is the use of entirely unnecessary labels such as "communist Jewish", " Zionist ( Right)", "masonic Jewish" etc.
The Bottom Line ( 35,000 ft. view):
Regardless of labelling, the far more important bottom line is that regardless of which "side" wins, the proposed alleged solution of either "side" is, as always : "mo' gubmint, mo' gubmint, mo' gubmint!" Which always means: less freedom, less freedom, LESS FREEDOM!!!!!!!!
This "solution", by either side depends on the false assumption by voters that government solutions actually work, when even a cursory look at history shows that they never have and never will.
However, as Barnum once astutely observed: "there's a sucker born every minute".
And that is what both fake "sides" ultimately depend on here, the continuing blind support of many suckers.
