The essential nature of all human relations is TRADE.
A barrier to trade is more than an economic decision.
It's a form of rejection. Ontario Premier certainly takes it personally.
He targeted Red States. It was effective.
Trump was mad enough to suspend all trade talks.
Ford subsequently "paused" the commercial.
Obviously the correct approach to Trump is to be
non-confrontational while not making unreasonable concessions.
Do you think Trump, the son of a slum landlord, really cares about American workers?
He is re-shoring in preparation for a horrible war.
Furthermore, I am stunned at his indifference to the plight of foreign workers being laid off as result of his tariffs.
The tariffs make no sense. The US was getting cheap excellent products from China in exchange for their worthless dollars.
I would have kept this grift going as long as I could! The following chart shows how the US will never be able to compete with abroad.
